Our Story
A Legacy of Leadership
Originally known as the William and Freda Fingerhut School of Education, Masor was founded in 1986 as AJU’s first professional school and one of the first major graduate-level institutions on the West Coast dedicated to training Jewish educators.
Now offering the largest degree program in the nation for Jewish early childhood education, the Masor School still sits at the heart of AJU’s academic mission and at the leading edge of advanced Jewish education in North America.
What Makes Masor Different
