Welcome to the website of American Jewish University (“AJU,” “University,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the AJU website located at www.aju.edu and all associated websites, pages, and digital services operated by AJU, including but not limited to websites related to AJU academic programs, the Brandeis-Bardin Campus, community programs, donor engagement, events, and institutional operations (collectively, the “Site”).
American Jewish University is a nonprofit institution of higher education, community engagement, and Jewish life and learning located in Los Angeles County, California.
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Site.
1. Purpose of Site
The Site is provided to support AJU’s educational, charitable, religious, cultural, and institutional mission. The Site provides information and services related to:
- Academic programs, admissions, and student services
- Campus life and institutional initiatives
- Community programs, retreats, and events
- Brandeis-Bardin Campus programs, retreats, facility use, and residential experiences
- Donor relations and charitable giving
- Alumni engagement
- Employment opportunities

The Site is intended for use by prospective and current students, faculty, staff, alumni, donors, program participants, partners, and members of the public.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with AJU’s nonprofit educational mission.

AJU reserves the right to restrict or terminate access to the Site at its discretion.
2. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise noted, all content on the Site—including text, images, graphics, logos, videos, publications, program descriptions, and design—is owned by American Jewish University or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
AJU’s name, logo, trademarks and service marks may not be used without prior written permission. All other trademarks, service marks, and logos used in the site are the trademarks, service marks, or logos of their respective owners. No trademark or service mark appearing on the site may be used without the prior written consent of the mark's owner.
You may view and download Site materials solely for personal, educational, and non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or exploit Site content for commercial purposes without written authorization. By downloading material from the Site, you agree that there is no explicit or implicit transfer of ownership rights.
4. Academic and Institutional Information Disclaimer
The Site provides general information regarding AJU’s academic programs, services, events, and institutional policies.
While AJU makes reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, AJU does not guarantee that Site information is complete, current, or error-free.
AJU reserves the right to modify at any time, without notice:

The Brandeis-Bardin Campus in Simi Valley, California serves as a residential educational and retreat center supporting AJU’s nonprofit mission.
Programs may include:

- Community and cultural programs
- Residential immersive experiences
- Conferences and institutional programs
- Facility rentals and partner programs
Program descriptions and facility information are provided for general informational purposes and may change without notice.
Participation may require separate agreements, waivers, or compliance with program policies. Such agreements supplement these Terms.
AJU reserves the right to:
- Establish eligibility requirements
- Modify or cancel programs
- Restrict access to campus facilities
- Deny participation for policy violations
7. Residential Programs and Participant Responsibilities
Certain programs involve overnight or residential participation.
Participants must comply with applicable:
- Program policies
- Health and safety requirements
- Codes of conduct
- Campus rules
Failure to comply may result in removal from programs or campus facilities.
Descriptions of accommodations and facilities are illustrative and do not guarantee specific amenities.
8. Facility Rentals and Third-Party Programs
AJU may permit third-party organizations to conduct programs or events at the Brandeis-Bardin Campus.
AJU is not responsible for the content, policies, or conduct of third-party programs.
Separate agreements govern third-party use of facilities.
9. User Submissions and Communications
The Site may allow submission of information including:

By submitting information, you represent that it is accurate and lawful.

- SECURITY
- FREEDOM FROM ERRORS OR HARMFUL COMPONENTS
- TITLE
- NON-INFRINGEMENT

Use of the Site is at your own risk.
The content accessible on or through the Site represents the opinions and judgments of the respective information provider, Site user, or other user not under contract with AJU. AJU neither endorses nor is responsible for the accuracy or reliability of any opinion, advice, or statement made on the Site by anyone other than authorized AJU employee spokespersons while acting in their official capacities. 17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Legal proceedings shall be brought in Los Angeles County, California.
