Community Mikvah
The mikvah is one of Judaism’s most powerful traditions, bringing sacred meaning to life’s milestones. Here, we celebrate, mark transitions, or find comfort and renewal.
Since 1981, the AJU Community Mikvah has been a hub for Jewish life in Southern California.
As the region’s only pluralistic ritual pool, we welcome over one thousand Jews each year from all denominations, ages, backgrounds, and orientations—guided by the principles of kavod (respect) and hachnasat orchim (hospitality).
We also partner with regional Bet Dins to welcome newcomers to Judaism and offer tours and classes for adults and students to explore this ancient tradition.
