Where JLE Began

AJU launched JLE in 2022 as a small 25-student pilot.

The goal was to give teens a way to earn college credits through advanced Jewish studies—and prove that Jewish education can be relevant and challenging even after their b-mitzvah. Today, dozens of communities across the country participate in JLE.
