Romina Naparstek

Instructor

Masor School for Jewish Education & Leadership

Romina Naparstek is an early childhood educator and Jewish education specialist with more than two decades of experience bridging child development, family engagement, and Jewish cultural identity.

Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Romina relocated to Miami at age 16. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Florida International University and a Master of Arts in Jewish Education from Gratz College. Her studies took her to Israel and California, experiences that continue to shape her approach to culturally grounded education.

Romina currently serves as Director of the Early Childhood Academy at the Michael-Ann Russell Jewish Community Center in North Miami Beach, where she leads a Reggio Emilia–inspired program rooted in inquiry, family partnership, and Jewish values. She is also co-founder of Tarbut Education, an organization dedicated to developing high-quality, play-based Israel education materials for young children — including the card game Matzati and the Israel Maps curriculum project, both designed for ages 2–8.

Her work reflects a deep belief that families and communities are central partners in children’s learning — the very focus she brings to EDU 313. Romina is committed to preparing educators who can build authentic, reciprocal relationships with the diverse families they serve.
