Rabbi Ephraim Pelcovits is a Los Angeles–based Jewish educator and consultant who teaches, mentors fellowship cohorts, and advises philanthropic initiatives. He has held leadership roles in congregational, academic, chaplaincy, and nonprofit settings, most recently serving as the New Israel Fund’s regional director for Southern California. He was ordained at the Jewish Theological Seminary, where he also earned an MA in Talmud. He is married to Rachel Weber, an artist, art educator, and community leader. Together, they are the proud—and very busy—parents of four terrific kids: Alex, Lev, Felix, and Frances.
