Halle Shumate is the Associate Director of the Ziering Brandeis Camp Institute (BCI). In her role, Halle will support the growth and impact of BCI’s immersive Jewish learning programs—deepening engagement, expanding recruitment, and strengthening its vibrant alumni network. A Southern California native, Halle brings experience from Hillel, BBYO, Jewish Community Relations Councils, and Jewish Federations, with a focus on community-building and meaningful dialogue. A graduate of American University, she is passionate about creating spaces for exploring Jewish identity, big ideas, and lasting connections.
