Andrea Stein is an experienced educator, advocate and consultant in the field of Jewish early childhood education. Currently serving as Boston Community Coordinator for ElevatEd, and the AJU Masters Mentor Facilitator Andrea works to strengthen and support a vibrant professional community of Jewish early childhood educators.
Andrea holds a Master’s Degree in Jewish Education with a specialization in Early Childhood Education from Hebrew College. Her academic training, combined with 18 years of professional experience, informs her holistic approach to early childhood development and Jewish education. She has held key leadership roles as a preschool Director and Director of Young Family Engagement, where she developed enriching educational programs, supported teacher growth, and fostered meaningful connections between schools and families.
Andrea is deeply passionate about educating and mentoring new educators, helping them build strong foundations in both pedagogy and Jewish educational practice. She is particularly committed to understanding the unique developmental needs of young learners and creating inclusive, joyful learning environments rooted in Jewish values. Through her work, she designs and facilitates professional development opportunities that enhance educators’ skills, pedagogical knowledge, and reflective practice, empowering them to continuously innovate in their classrooms and communities.
