Announcing Danielle Sassman’s Promotion to Associate Provost, Institutional Effectiveness

Dear AJU Community,

We are delighted to share that Danielle Sassman has been promoted to the role of Associate Provost, Institutional Effectiveness at American Jewish University.

Since joining AJU in 2020, Danielle has played a vital role in advancing institutional research, assessment, and data-informed decision-making to support continuous improvement across the University. In her new role, she takes on expanded leadership responsibilities in academic planning, programmatic operations, strategic academic initiatives, and institutional research, all in service of enhancing student success and institutional effectiveness.

Danielle will continue to oversee the Office of Registrar Services and now directly supervises the University Registrar, Director of Assessment, and related staff to ensure the alignment of academic and administrative services across AJU. She also serves as Vice Dean of Operations for the Masor School for Jewish Education and Leadership, supporting the School amid significant enrollment growth across its programs.

A respected thought leader, Danielle is nationally recognized for her work at the intersection of data and innovation in higher education. Her writing and presentations, including features in the Jewish Journal and appearances at leading conferences like WSCUC ARC and CLN Learning, reflect her commitment to improving educational outcomes through technology, design thinking, and inclusive leadership.

Danielle is a 2024 Momentum Fellow and part of the 2025 Cohort of the President as Entrepreneur and Administrators as Entrepreneurs Workshop. Her dedication to excellence, collaboration, and mission-driven work has made her a valued leader at AJU and a critical voice in shaping our academic future.
