While AJU has paused all undergraduate admissions and is sun setting the current undergraduate division, the university remains fully accredited.
The university was re-accredited for seven years in 2016 for all of its academic programming. AJU has informed our accrediting agency of the plans for the undergraduate program and there will be no impact on university accreditation.
All undergraduate and graduate programs at American Jewish University (AJU) are accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC), one of six regional accrediting associations in the United States.
In spring 2016, AJU was visited by a WSCUC team for a re-accreditation review under the 2013 Standards of Accreditation. This visit resulted in AJU’s re-accreditation for the maximum eight-year period (through 2024).
The full text of the letter AJU received from WSCUC on July 8, 2016 has been made available to AJU community members and can be accessed on the WSCUC website.
