Bio
Marcy Davidson has worked in early childhood education for 33 years. She is currently a Department Chair and Professor of Early Childhood and Education at Reedley College. She received an MA in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College with specializations in Early Childhood Education, Leadership in Education and College Teaching. Marcy’s previous experience includes serving as the Director of Fresno Jewish Day School for 12 years as well as Director of Camp Shalom for 10 years. Her passion for Early Childhood and Judaica education has enabled her to also serve the Jewish community as Sunday School Teacher, Hebrew School teacher, and Katanim Director. She provides guidance and mentorship to Early Childhood directors, teaches adjunct at CSU Fresno and has developed early childhood courses for UC Merced. She previously served on the Executive board for CAEYC at the state and local levels. Marcy met her husband 40 years ago at an AEPi party . They have one adult son, Daniel, who is also in education. Four years ago Daniel made Marcy a Bubbe to her favorite little human, William. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and of course, spending time with her grandson.
