    Avital has been in the Early Childhood Education (ECE) field for over 30 years. She is currently the Director of Early Childhood Education and Engagement at Temple Isaiah. Avital holds an MAEd in Early Childhood Education from American Jewish University and is a California State Mentor Director. In her mentoring role, Avital guides the teachers within Temple Isaiah, helping them to enhance their practices and develop professionally, but she also serves as an advocate and mentor throughout the broader ECE community in Los Angeles. She works closely with other directors in the region, providing them with support, guidance, and strategies to improve their programs. Her influence extends beyond her own institution, as she actively participates in various professional networks and collaborates with other ECE professionals to foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in early childhood education.

    Avital is a sought-after presenter at numerous early childhood conferences nationwide, sharing her expertise and passion for Jewish education. Born and raised in Israel, she has a deep love for Jewish education and is committed to nurturing the next generation. Avital is married to Aaron and has three beautiful daughters and two grandchildren.
