    Hebrew School Teacher (K-7th grade)

    Job Summary::

    We are looking for Hebrew School teachers for our K-7th Grade classes. The school runs on Sunday mornings (9:30am-12pm) in person at the temple in Burbank (K-7th grade), and on Tuesday afternoons (4:30-5:30pm) online (4th-7th grade). Actual working hours are 9am-noon on Sundays and 4:15-5:30pm on Tuesdays online.

    $41-55hr

    Duties and Responsibilities::

    Have a strong knowledge and understanding of Jewish practice and culture ● Have experience teaching and working with kids ● Be energetic, engaging, fun and be able to mix both non-traditional and traditional methods of teaching ● Have the ability to adapt curriculum to personal teaching style and enhance the provided curriculum ● Have at least a basic knowledge of the Hebrew language (reading and prayer)
